Senators pass eight bills for the Governor's consideration

Senators are sending eight bills to the Governor for her consideration. Some of the measures include: 

Senator Telo Taitague's bill to create a special cost of living economic task force to recommend a formula for annual GovGuam retiree COLA.

Senator Sabina Perez' bill that requires administrative review of GovGuam contracts of more than $5-million dollars.

Senator Taitague's bill to require lifeguards at public swimming pools.

Senator Amanda Shelton's bill to extend the Guam Registered Apprenticeship program for another five years.

Senator Perez' bill to require insurance companies to notify the insurance commissioner of plans to issue dividends, which could also be denied by the commissioner.

Another Perez bill to establish insurance adjuster licensing requirements.

Senator Roy Quinata's bill to require external defibrillators at all GovGuam offices and Senator Chris Barnett's bill to allow for the use of body-worn cameras by police officers.
