Free haircuts are being provided once again on Tuesday.
This time, residents can get their free haircuts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Agana Heights Mayor’s Office through a collaboration of the offices of Sens. Dwayne T.D. San Nicolas and Roy A.B. Quinata with Guam Community College’s Cosmetology program.
The last call for haircuts is set for 2:30 p.m. Haircuts are administered by students of the GCC’s Cosmetology Program.
Island residents can also take advantage of free cheeseburgers and hotdogs that will be distributed via drive-thru at the Mayor’s Office while supplies last.
The free six-hour event was organized to relieve island residents of the devastation left by Typhoon Mawar.
On July 11, GCC’s cosmetology students performed 50 haircuts at the Yigo Gym, despite the wet weather.
Additionally, Sens. San Nicolas, Quinata, Joe S. San Agustin and Amanda Shelton came together to distribute 450 hotdogs to the community during the event.
